its very good to get free Matrimonial / Wedding Website PHP Script, but i want a little help of you please could you tell me when as i try to load it over localhost on wamp it causes this error:
Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Access denied for user ‘hostingc_shaadi2’@’localhost’ (using password: YES) in C:\wamp\www\metrimon\connection.php on line 8
actually it is running in another server ,so you must change its user in config.php file with your local server details like mysql_connect(“localhost”,”root”,””)
also you can change the database user name or password so that it will work fine.
Ours is NGO I need your help to orphan old age and other disables of the society.
i set to mysql_connect(“localhost”,”root”,””)
$user=”admin”;
$password=”admin”
but still continue that above error

In download there is no config.php file, then how to config it can you able to explain in details.

it is not config.php ,it is connection.php so u can change “host name ” ,”username” in connection.php

I’ve downloaded and setup the script but still errors. For those who want to make a connection with db follow these steps.
1. create a database using phpmyadmin. assume the name is “matri_db”
2. create a database user and grant all privileges to the user. assume the username is “admin” with password “admin”
3. In phpmyadmin select your database and import the database file into “matri_db”
4. Now open the connection.php file and edit as under:
$server = “localhost”;//localhost
$user = “admin”;
$password = “admin”;
$dbName = “matri_db”;
This should run properly. In my case its having some problems. If anyone have running this successfully then please contact with me to ‘[email protected]’ i’ll share some templates and other matrimonial scripts.

this is a bogus script, it do not provide any database to run the website.
dear I am buy this Script from hosting company and share here. Hosting company install script and give me ackup too. So I share that backup script here. That’s why I don’t think so it is a bogus script. If you try, it will install perfectly.

I have created a website using your script. Thankyou for keeping it free.
I do have some difficulty as I am not a professional php programmer or a web designer.
1) The registration doesn’t list the countries to select due to which the registration process doesn’t complete.
2) I don’t know how to create a database for all the user info… well I have created a database file but I assume I need to some more work on it like adding tables some fields etc for it to work.
3) The admin panel – I don’t know what username and password to use to login to admin panel.
Your help would really be appreciated.

You need to provide sample database for the website
i think the above good comments are fake comments made by the moderator.the script doesn’t run in local host and even the two sql files are having improper codes inside.

In some places PHP short tags are there. To avoid the error’s replace “<?" with "<?php".

I set up as below
